DESTINATION WEDDING IN CAPRI

Stylistics & Décor

Rikke and Ole went for minimalistic aesthetics as their wedding concept. Clear and smooth lines, noble silver, transparent glass, tall candles, white orchids and vibrant greens reflected the mood of the couple and delicately emphasized the natural beauty of the location.

Wedding Day

In the morning during the preparations, Rikke was worried not only about the upcoming ceremony, but also because of the adverse weather forecast. In her dreams, the wedding should take place only on the open terrace and no other way. She kept insisting that the holiday not be moved indoors, and she was not wrong. The rain bypassed the island, and allowed the couple and guests to enjoy the sun and perfect seascapes.

Choice of Location

The wedding celebration took place at the historic villa Castiglione, located on a cliff at an altitude of 250 meters, where heaven and earth become one. This is a unique oasis of beauty and luxury with a thousand-year history and panoramic views of the entire Mediterranean.

A very moving ceremony took place on a corner terrace with an open view of the Faraglioni. A Norwegian priest led a church ceremony of blessing to traditional music, which all the guests sang along to.

The images of the bride and groom perfectly matched the style of the wedding: an elegant satin dress, Rikke's smooth hair and nude makeup, and Ole's snow-white jacket.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their loved ones were spoiled with an Italian aperitif with fine wines and appetizers. The wedding dinner took place under the sky – on the picturesque terrace of the villa on the edge of a steep slope, the guests were enjoying high-class cuisine and made sincere toasts in honor of Rikke and Ole. The best moment of the evening was a gift from the bride’s father – Neapolitan songs performed by an opera singer.

Dinner continued with the couple cutting the wedding cake and dancing to the energetic music of the DJ and the accompaniment of night-time Capri.
