If you want a civil wedding in Italy, you will need a lot of assistance in document proceedings and communication with the authorities, so Margarita and her Dolce Vita team is your best option in this case!
We are so very thankful to her for helping us with all the documents and formalities. The civil ceremony itself was very original and romantic. We are very happy we were able to entrust our wedding to Dolce Vita and follow Margaritas advice about the choice of the wedding venue. Sorrento became the place we had been dreaming of.
Alexander and Helena
Fuga d’amore or a small wedding for two in Italy
Weddings can be big and noisy, with lots of guests, singing and cheering, dancing in the middle of the night until everyone is dead tired of the party. But often a couple wants a very small celebration just for two of them. It is the two loving hearts who make a decision to enter the bond, is there a need to involve more people in the wedding event?
Therefore, they were two of them, Alexander and Helena, the two loving newlyweds, who wanted their wedding to be intimate and touchy, quiet and romantic.
The couple decided to have civil ceremony at the beginning of October in Sorrento neighborhood. So they decided on the most beautiful Villa Fondi with the park full of exotic plants and Archeologic Museum displaying historic artefacts found on Sorrento coast. The villa is located in a small village of Piano di Sorrento sitting atop the terrace that offers the breathtaking sea view upon the Naples Bay and Vesuvius.
As soon as the date was booked, the couple started document formalities for their visa (nulla osta) application. Not long before their wedding Alexander and Helena went to Rome to receive their documents in the Consulate and see the wonders of the Italian capital.
On arriving at Sorrento, we all visited the Commune to sign declarations and settle the details of the wedding.
The spouses were together for many years, and they wanted their marriage celebration to be intimate and exclusively for the two of them. On the wedding day, Helena was wearing a luxurious white dress with a bride’s bouquet of white roses that ideally matched her image. The spouses were so happy; they made jokes and laughed a lot. Alexander had prepared for their Italian trip: he had been learning Italian for a while, and he proudly presented his language skills on the wedding day. The autumn weather was amazingly sunny and warm and the Sun seemed to pour its tender light upon the newlyweds. The Mayor’s representative performed the wedding ceremony in the park, and after the spouses pronounced their “Si”, the guests cheered them with their glasses of bubbly.
After the civil wedding ceremony, the couple had their long photoshoot on the Villa and had a romantic walk in the narrow streets of Sorrento with the photographer who took the most picturesque photos of them two.
A romantic Italian dinner with wine and delicious dishes, laid for two, was waiting for them in the hotel on the seashore.
